A new Mott Hall charter school opened in the Bronx and I was lucky to have a chance to make this video of their 3-day orientation before school started.

I produced, shot and edited this video while interning with Teach for America in NYC. This piece highlights NY Summer Institute Corps Member Eli Heller and his first experiences in the classroom, specifically focusing on different ways he tried to reach his students. This video also features my stop motion debut :)

From 1952 to 1953, my grandfather served in the Korean War. Growing up, he would always tell me stories about his experiences there. For my final project in my Visual Storytelling class, I wanted to document his stories… and how he feels about the public’s perception of the Korean War today. This was a “one man band” project, so all of it was filmed and edited by myself. Special thanks to my professor Dave Nolan for helping me find the military b-roll footage. And of course, many special thanks to my grandparents for sharing this story.
Keep San Marcos Beautiful PSA done for my video production class.

This story, also done while I was at KUT News, is about the 25th anniversary of the successful Texas anti-littering campaign, Don’t Mess With Texas.

Last summer, I worked as an intern with the NPR affiliated radio station, KUT News, in Austin, Texas.
One of the stories I did was on school supply drives in the Austin area for families in need.
