Along with being a corps member with NCCC, I also served as a media representative for my team during my term of service from February to November 2013. Here is a collection of some working photos I took during this past year. The organizations we served with included the Northeast Iowa Food Bank, Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity, Camp One Heartland in Minnesota, Northern Michigan Mountain Biking Association, Earth Tipi on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, Roy Lake State Park in South Dakota, The Nature Conservancy of Wisconsin and Milwaukee County Parks.  Pictures include team mates Aidan Potter, James Moses, Team Leader Ted Sweeney and team mate John Kelly. We also began the year with a “mini-spike” or a practice project serving Pilgrim Heights, a summer camp and retreat in Iowa.

I produced, shot and edited this video while interning with Teach for America in NYC. This piece highlights NY Summer Institute Corps Member Eli Heller and his first experiences in the classroom, specifically focusing on different ways he tried to reach his students. This video also features my stop motion debut :)
